I haven't been very good at writing my life-ness while it's still fresh in my head. I've been pretty busy with school, work, family, working on my mission papers, etc. I'm actually pretty bummed because one of my brothers and his fam are moving to Ohio for a new job he got after closing down his mortgage business in order to get more financially stable. Crazy. I'm way proud of him and happy for him, that he gets this opportunity to grow and expand in his life even more and that he doesn't have the stress of his business anymore. But I'm so sad, words cannot fully describe, that he and his wife and their little girl are moving so far away for who knows how long. I just love them so much. I just love my entire family so much. Honestly, if we could like build our own private community somewhere that would be the most awesome thing EVER and make me SO HAPPY! But, so goes life.
As for working on my mission papers, I'm about 2/3 of the way done and I can hardly wait! Because of all the doctor and dental stuff, I'll probably end up turning in my papers some time in June. But that's okay, I'm not really on a personal time limit, I just want to get it all done correctly. I am so excited to be living a life for 18 months where there isn't anything else like school or work (though I know a mission is work, that's not what I'm getting at) friends wanting to hang, family activities, and just all the other bazillion things that take time away from focussing on living the gospel. I know the challenges on a mission are entirely different, but I'm ready to have that entirely different part in my life.
Work has been pretty good lately aand today was a pretty funny day. Things have been really slow for a while, which sucks for the store, but makes time for a lot more goofing off to take place...even by the boss/owner. Haha, he can be rather interesting sometimes. But it's great. My favorite thing of today though would have to be when a mom and her daughter came in to the store. The daughter must've only been 4 or 5 and was super pretty and very sweet/soft spoken, but she totally had spunk too. So I'm standing there hanging up the newly tagged items to be put in the "new arrivals" section, and out of the corner of my eye, I see the little girl do a small skip over to the counter where my boss is talking to her mom, and then I hear her utter the words "Hey Dude..." in the sweetest, most polite way EVER, and she proceeds to say (after being corrected by her mom) "...Excuse me, Sir...howcome you can't get the Hello Kitty tent down off the shelf?" My boss proceeded to tell her that it had to stay on the shelf because it was ripped and needed to be fixed. And then she very placidly said "Oh, okay." and went back to play with her little brother whom had been brought in to the store by the grandma. Anyway, it was just super funny and gave us a good laugh. It seriously was like she just couldn't think of the correct way to start into asking a question and just said "Hey, Dude..." in hopes that it would be overlooked. Haha, I haven't been able to stop thinking about it all day.
Next for me to talk about...SCHOOL! I'm pretty much hoping that I can pass this class. I'm sure I will, but it's just so relaxed and quite boring that it's really hard for me to push myself, because I keep thinking "Oh, I don't have to have any of the homework or tests done til the end of the block, so I'm fine if I don't work on anything this week." WRONG! I'm noticing that I'm getting behind. So I need to bust my butt a tad and just plough through the homework so I'll be able to catch up and have time to study for the final exam.
Anywho, I'm pretty dang tired right now, and I've kinda just been letting my fingers type away as I sit here hoping that they're transfering things from my mind correctly, because I really haven't been paying that much attention to what I'm writing. :p
