Fed Up With Ferrets....

Alright, here we go again with my randomly trying to catch up on several months of activity and goings-on. Jordan and I are still together and are actually celebrating our 6 monthiversary this coming saturday, and we are so excited! Things have been pretty rocky the past several months in many aspects, but more-so the past month everything has just been trying so hard to knock Jordan and I out of orbit altogether as individuals and as a couple. But one thing about love is that it's kind of insane and you just don't want to give up no matter how hard something might be, and you just want to see it through to the very end even though you're constantly hoping there is no end. And yet, sometimes love does this funny thing where it can make you so incredibly angry that you don't even want to touch it with a ten foot pole. Let's take things a step further though and combine both of the previous scenarios and have them intertwining right and left. Yep, that's love. It's not perfect. It's not always easy. But it certainly is worth it.
Anyway, you're probably wondering what the heck love and ferrets have to do with each other. Haha well, absolutely nothing! I decided to quit my job at ancestry.com at the beginning of June because it was bringing my stress levels through the roof and making a lot of my health challenges flare up big time. Because of that, and the fact that my apartment is just WAY too expensive, I decided to take on a roommate. Not the best idea I've ever had...simply because this girl, sweet as she is, drives me nuts! Okay, okay, she doesn't drive me nuts, it's the fact that she has two super stinky and super annoying ferrets that she lets run around the apartment all the time and poop in the corners in every room and steal random stuff such as the pads from my earphones, my cotton balls, and so much more...! I'm not going to lie, the animals themselves are cute, but if she would only keep them in their gosh darn cage and keep them smelling good! I'm just about at my wit's end with all the animals in the house because not only do we have her two ferrets and my two dogs, but for three days we are tending the two ferrets and one dog that belong to her parents. I can make it, I can make it. I will not kill anything, I will be calm. ;p

Enough about animals, more about what has been going on the past few months...
My best friend Taylor Baker and her sweet Roy Barlow were married in Oceanside, CA on May 18th, and Jordan and I got to have a road trip and attend the ceremony - which was absolutely beautiful. We got to stay with my brother Chad and his cute family in Laguna Niguel, and on our way back to Utah we made a slight detour so I could meet Jordan's parents and his grandfather (who is one of the cutest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting).
Another crazy thing that happened is that I finally got some gum and bone grafting done on one of my front, bottom teeth. It was a lot more intense than I thought it would be, but I'm soooo glad it finally happened!
Jordan and I have been doing the INSANITY workouts, and the program is aptly named. We are half way through and are looking and feeling better in so many ways, but we have such a love/hate relationship with the program. Definitely a worthwhile endeavor, but it takes a TON of mental dedication, not just physical.

My family seems to be doing well, we are all just kind of cruising along. Jordan and I will be celebrating the 4th with my brother Chuck and his family, and possibly my parents as well. I'm sure I will be writing more in my blog now that I'm realizing how important it is to keep it updated on a more regular basis, for your sake and for mine. ;p
